Paul Ryan Just Dropped An Explosive Bombshell About Trump’s Impeachment, Trump Needs To Pack His Bags

Following today’s incriminating testimony from former FBI Director James Comey, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has denied that Republicans would call for the impeachment of a Democratic President if he or she was in the same position as Donald Trump.

While Comey’s testimony shows that Trump’s “directive” to end the FBI’s investigation into Michael Flynn skews dangerously close to obstruction of justice, Ryan told a reporter at his weekly Capitol press conference that Republicans would not be suggesting impeachment at this point.

“No. I don’t think we would, actually. I don’t think that’s at all the case.”

Ryan, for his part, gave a slew of excuses for Trump’s nefarious activities. He said of Trump, “he’s new in government, and so therefore I think he’s learning as he goes.” I find it hard to believe that Ryan would be as understanding if his surgeon got himself into an equivalent mess while operating on him. And yet, somehow, the President of the United States obstructing justice seems to be permissible.

Democrats in Congress, however, are not buying Republicans’ newfound leniency. Rep. Al Green (D-TX) has announced that he is formally drafting articles of impeachment.

“Obstruction of justice by the President is the problem,” Green said. “Impeachment by Congress is the solution.”

While Ryan continues to peddle blatant and transparent lies to the American people about how “understanding” Republicans would be to a Democratic President who has perhaps committed treason, there are still Republicans calling on Hillary Clinton to be investigated. The Speaker may try to deceive Americans with his baseless remarks, but he is fooling no one.
